Additional Dance Class in Virginia Beach This Summer
There are no refunds for Dance Camp after August 5th.
February Is Here For Our Virginia Beach Dancers
This month our Virginia Beach dancers are working on tendu. We stretch our legs out straight and point our toes.
We have also been working on “toe heel” during our tap dance lessons. We place the ball of our foot on the floor and tap our heels down to make two sounds.
Happy Holidays From Dance Makers
Echappe is French for escape! This month we worked on jumping out into second position and back into first, (with our heels kissing.) Your dancer can execute this ballet movement slowly and quickly. We’ve also visited “upside down world” many times! Here we practice our handstands and see everything “upside down.”
Dance Makers staff wishes you and your loved ones a very healthy and happy holiday season. There will be no classes Thursday December 23rd – Friday December 31st (at most locations) Classes resume the week of Monday January 3rd.
Summer Dance Programs
Ms. Jennifer’s Dance Camp
Come jump, twirl, leap, spin, and stomp, your way through the summer! Ms.Jennifer’s Dance Camp is an exciting 5 day program! Through imagination and creativity, your boy or girl will enjoy exploring different styles of dance. Workshops will be held in ballet, tap jazz, creative movement and tumbling. Each day will focus on a different theme (circus, beach day, prince/princess, etc.) with a craft that ties in with the theme. SNACK PROVIDED! (Held at our studio location: Magic Moments Ballroom in Virginia Beach)
August 9-13 9:00am -12:00am ages 3-7 One Week- $135.00
Come experience ballet, tap, jazz, creative movement and tumbling in a supportive and non-competitive environment! Each technically based class is one hour long and consists of non-stop fun! We have 2 different levels of combination classes to choose from (Held at our studio location: Magic Moments Ballroom in Virginia Beach)
This 6 week workshop is held once a week from June 30th –August 4th. $65.00
Tappin’ Tots (ballet,tap, jazz, and tumbling) Ages 3-5 Wed, 5pm-6pm
Budding Ballerinas (ballet, tap, jazz, and tumbling) Ages 5-7 Wed, 4pm-5pm

New this year for Inlet Fitness South members!
Dance Makers will also be holding classes weekly at Inlet Fitness South. With Inlet offering the instruction at their facility, you as a parent have the added benefit of not trying to fit another appointment into your busy day. Classes will consist of ballet, tap, jazz, and tumbling. Dancer must be enrolled in the Inlet Fitness daycare program.
This 6 week workshop is held once a week from June 29th-August 4th. $65.00
