What each class typically needs

Ballet: Leotard, tights, and ballet slippers (leather or canvas).
Tap: Tap shoes, plus comfortable dancewear you can move in.
Jazz: Jazz shoes and fitted dancewear.
Hip Hop: Clean, non-marking indoor sneakers and comfortable athletic wear.
Tumbling & Acro: Bare feet or footless tights with fitted athletic wear (no skirts or loose clothing, for safety).
